Sidi T-4 Air Carbon Men's Triathlon Bike Shoes

The NEW Sidi T4 Carbon AIR triathlon cycle shoes features a super-perforated triathlon-specific upper for maximum drainage and ventilation, with a plush, brushed interior for sock-free comfort for fast transitions and supreme comfort on the bike leg. Like all SIDI carbon soles, the Twelve Carbon/Composite sole is made with two different materials blended together, nylon and carbon fibre. It is made out of injected Carbon Fiber in a matrix of Nylon. The Nylon used doesn’t absorb water and doesn’t lose rigidity in hot or humid weather or as it ages. The result is a significantly lighter and stiffer sole Translation: The T4 gives you legs on the bike, and saves your legs for the run.

  • NEW AIR perforated Triathlon-specific upper has a plush, brushed interior with minimal seams for sock-free comfort, and is now vented for air flow and water drainage
  • TWELVE CARBON COMPOSITE Sole is made with two different materials blended together, nylon and carbon fibre
  • Large heel loop for fast transitions
  • SIDI Heel Cup
  • For walkability, Sidi cycling shoes include a replaceable polyurethane heel pad.

  1. Wanted to like/keep these

Posted by Unknown on Jun 8th 2017

I tried these along with 4 other brands/shoes. These look great, and are very light and seem very well ventilated. Almost slipper like. But two big drawbacks that kept me from them: 1. The strap at the top is pretty small compared to other tri-specific shoes and it didn't feel right on-the-fly, and 2. the loop on the back is far too small to target/use quickly. It's a fatal flaw to be honest. It's senseless that they made it that small. Other than those, it's a slightly narrow shoes (compared to the Shimano TR9's I landed up going with).
